I was going through a lot. Also I wasn’t working hard enough, and it lit a fire under my ass. And I was also having difficulties with my partner at the time. We were in the wrong place.
“My depression and anxiety were starting, and I decided there would be no more. I had to start living life the way I wanted to live it. So I decided to be myself. That’s why I cut my hair and started living true to myself. I want to show everyone about me.
Rhea said in an interview that half of the WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions are convinced that WWE would have fired her if she had kept her hair long. NXT fans will remember Ripley with long blonde hair before her drastic transformation in 2018.
